| Abstract: | As an important part of forest ecosystem, stump reflects the values of economy and ecology, which affects the utilization of stands, and has influence on many aspects in forest, such as forest regeneration, wild life and nutrient cycling. This paper reviews the present research progress in stump. Meanwhile, some problems to be solved in these fields are also pointed out. |
