Alfalfa Planting and Dairy Cattle Feeding

Adjusting agricultural industry structure, replacing tilling with grass and forest, developing herbivorous animal production were the key measures to construction eco agriculture and prosper countryside economy. Named as the king of grazing grasses, alfalfa was the first choice of all grasses. According to the characteristics of alfalfa and dairy cattle nutrition, calculation and estimation of alfalfa feed value and corresponding technology of alfalfa planting and dairy cattle feeding, alfalfa quality for different dairy herds, harvesting, prossing and storage of alfalfa, alfalfa planting and dairy cattle feeding were analyzed. Finally, quality alfalfa production and using and its significance in dairy cattle production were also introduced.
