Discussion on Organization Model and Supervision System for Financial Holding Company in China

Reforms and trendency of integration in the financial service industry give impetus to the development of financial conglomerates and financial holding companies ( FHC). There are two models of China''s FHC: non - financial enterprise holding company and bank holding company. As for supervision system, it emphasizes that should combine comprehensive supervision with segregated supervision, replace the traditional means of supervision system by object - oriented risk analysis,produce supervisory guidelines for capital adequacy and set up internal fire walls.
