Abstract:Taking Suinong 22 as experimental material,the effect of different ridge directions on yield of soybean was studied in 2010.The results showed that the leaf area index,dry matter weight,plant height,seed weight per plant,seed number per plant and economic index of the ridge directions of northeast-southwest,northwest-southeast and east-west were lower than those of south-north ridge direction during the seedling stage,branching period,flowering time,pod formation and seed filling period.Compared with the south-north direction,there was a 13.4% and 14.2% yield lower in the northeast-southwest and southeast-northwest direction respectively which showed a remarkable difference,however,with merely 3.3% yield lower than the south-north direction,the yield decrease of the east-west direction was not so dramatic.It could be concluded that the south-north ridge direction has the better soybean growth index and productive index and was worthy of widespread.
