Analyses on the Positioning of Talents Training Goals for English Majors in Agricultural Universities

With the rising number of English majors in Chinese universities, English major students employment pressure is more and more severe. The English major students graduated from agricultural universities are obviously at a disadvantage in the fierce employment competition. So the English Majors in agricultural universities should accurately position their talent training goals, improve their talent training modes and cultivate compound talents to satisfy the needs of the local economic development. This article elaborates the talent training goals for English majors in China, analyzes the relationship between the talent training goals for English majors and the education aims for agricultural universities and points out the connotation of talent training goals for English majors based on the characteristics of the agricultural universities.
