Abstract:The technology of Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was briefly introduced.Meanwhile,the application of ELISA in analysis of food safety and investrgation progress were commented,including pesticide residue,animal drug residue,food toxins,pathogenic microorganisms and the compositions of genetically modified foods,etc.The development tendency of ELISA and its application prospect were discussed.
