摘    要:
本试验以具有显著抗冷性差异的早熟和晚熟两种陆地棉品种为材料,以昼夜不同温度形式的低温处理其幼苗数天后,测定其过氧化物酶(POD)活性,并与未经低温处理的相应测定值进行分析比较.结果表明:参试的所有品种的幼苗,经低温处理后,其POD都有不同程度的提高。说明在低温育苗处理下棉花幼苗提高了抗冷性。

Abstract:
Two varieties of upland cotton belonging to different chilling-resistant levels,i.e.early and late maturity were determined for the activities of peroxidase(abbr to POD) in cotton seedlings which have been treated at different low temperature day and night.Results indicated that activities of POD in two varieties treated are higher under varying degrees than those in relevant untreated ones.On basis of experimental results,the relations between the chilling-resistance of cotton varieties and activities of POD were analyzed.Moreover,the possible relevant mechanisms were discussed.
