| Abstract: | The research is mainly focused on measuring the pH value, acidalkali buffering capacity and the extractives with benzo|alcohol of five different kinds of birches. Results of the experiment are analyzed and compared in regard to the above|mentioned chemical features, which demonstrates that UF resin is approprite when manufacturing veneer from the five kinds of birches. |
