观赏南瓜新品种吉星的选育

吉星是珠海市现代农业发展中心以自交系ZN023为母本，以自交系NK108为父本杂交选育而成的大型观赏南瓜新品种。表现：植株生长势和分枝性强；以主蔓结瓜为主，平均第1雌花节位为第20.0节，易坐果；瓜扁圆形，平均纵径72.2 cm、横径81.8 cm，平均单瓜质量98.2 kg，瓜皮浅粉红色，表皮光滑，有棱沟； 抗病性和抗逆性较强，适宜华南地区秋季栽培。

Breeding of New Ornamental Pumpkin Cultivar 'Jixing'

Abstract: ''Jixing'' was a new large ornamental pumpkin cultivar bred by Zhuhai Modern Agricultural Development Center with inbred line ZN023 as female and NK108 as male parent. It showed that the plant had strong growth vigor and branching. The main vine was dominated by melon, and the average position of the first female flower node was 20.0, which was easy to bear fruit. The melon was flat and round, with an average longitudinal diameter of 72.2 cm and a transverse diameter of 81.8 cm. The average weight of a single melon was 98.2 kg. The melon skin was light pink, the epidermis was smooth and had furrows. It had strong disease resistance and stress resistance, and was suitable for autumn cultivation in south China.
