In order to obtain information on dry deposition of SO2 onto loess in China, the effects of water vapor and NO2 on SO2 deposition-oxidation processes were investigated in laboratory measurements. The deposition velocities of SO2 onto loess particles were 2.34–7.33 cm s?1, were high in comparison with the other studies. Deposition of SO2 onto the particles was decreased with exposed time and amounts of SO2, but was influenced by adsorption of water vapor onto the particles. On the other hand, oxidation of SO2 physically8 adsorbed was promoted by the coexistence of water vapor and NO2. So, it was indicated that it was possible for water vapor and NO2 in the atmosphere to play an important role in dry deposition for the deposition-oxidation interaction between SO2 and loess particles.  相似文献

The objective was to study the role of calpains in meat tenderness. Lambs were fasted for various periods of time to generate differences in meat tenderness and to determine in tandem the expression of calpain 1, calpain 2, calpain 3, and calpastatin. The assumption has been that increased calpain expression associated with an increase in tenderness indicates a role for calpain in the tenderization process and vice versa. Fasting lambs for 1 day caused a significant improvement in longissimus (LD) tenderness compared to the control. Correlations between the tenderness of the LD and the expression of the calpains and calpastatin were significant for calpains 1 and 3 but not for calpain 2 or calpastatin. Consequently, this study supports a role for calpains 1 and 3, but not for calpain 2, in the tenderization of the LD from fasted lambs during post-mortem aging.  相似文献

A total of 31 antibody-secreting hybridoma cells against the yellowtail ascites virus (YAV) were established. These monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) reacted with the cytoplasm of YAV-infected CHSE-214 cells, but not with uninfected CHSE-214 cells in an immunofluorescence test. Using these MAbs, two classes of polypeptides (VP2 and VP3) were characterized by immunoprecipitation followed by SDS-PAGE, although one MAb did not react with either polypeptide. Fifteen out of the 17 MAbs that were reactive with VP2 polypeptides neutralized virus infectivity, but all 13 MAbs that were reactive with VP3 did not neutralize infectivity. In the immunofluorescence test, 29 out of the 31 MAbs obtained showed the same reaction pattern to 12 YAV isolates from yellowtail, Seriola quinqueradiata, goldstriped amberjack, Seriola aureovittata, and threeline grunt, Parapristipoma trilineatum, from different geographical regions. The remaining two MAbs showed slightly different reaction patterns to the YAV isolates. The reaction patterns of the MAbs to the VR-299, Sp and Ab strains of IPNV were also investigated. Fourteen MAbs reacted to all three IPNV strains. The other 17 MAbs showed a negative reaction with at least one strain.  相似文献
