Conventional feedstuffs in Brazil are expensive, which has led to the search for less conventional cheaper and locally available feedstuffs. Thus, this study was carried out to determine the dietary effect of dry sweet potato vines (SPV) on the performance and some carcass characteristics of rabbits. A total of twenty‐seven weaned White New Zealand rabbits (14 male and 13 female) 35 days old with an average initial weight of 755 g were allocated into three treatments. Nine rabbits were assigned to each treatment in a completely randomized design. Three diets were formulated to similar protein and energy levels: 0SPV – diet without inclusion of dry sweet potato vines; 10SPV – diet with 10% alfalfa hay replaced by dry sweet potato vines; and 15SPV – diet with 15% of alfalfa hay replaced by dry sweet potato vines. The experiment lasted for 49 days during which data for feed intake and body weight were recorded. The daily feed intake ranged from 73.17 to 78.02 g; daily weight gain from 22.32 to 23.17 g; feed conversion ratio (FCR) from 3.16 to 3.49 and final live weight ranged from 1839.44 to 1880.55 g. None of the evaluated performance parameters as well as carcass weight, heart weight and percentages of fat and protein in meat were significantly affected by any of the tested dietary treatments. However, the liver weight was statistically lower in animals fed the diets containing 10% of SPV, mainly due to lower glucose content. Glycogen within the tissue, did not differ significantly among treatments. It was therefore concluded that up to 15% of SPV can successfully be included in the diet of rabbits as a cheaper replacement for alfalfa hay without adversely affecting performance.  相似文献

Increasing evidence in the field of bioprospection fosters the necessity of studying poorly investigated poisonous marine invertebrates to expand knowledge on animal venom biology. Among marine annelids, amphinomid fireworms are notorious for their bearded trunk equipped with a powerful stinging capacity. Here, a methodological workflow based on analytical chemistry techniques (compound isolation followed by mass spectrometry and spectroscopy analyses) was applied to gain new insights, leading to the identification and structural elucidation of an array of natural products from Mediterranean specimens of Hermodice carunculata. Eight betaine-derived unprecedented compounds, named “carunculines”, were detected, bearing two terminal ammonium groups tri-and disubstituted at the Cα (A, B) and a series of different alkyl chains (I–VIII). The mixture of chemicals was found in all the body parts of H. carunculata, supporting a mechanism of action triggered by their vehiculation inside the dorsal chaetae, and subsequent injection when chaetae break off on contact. Preliminary investigations to understand adaptive features were also performed, showing a trend in carunculine abundance that fits into the evolutionary history of these worms. These findings shed light on the chemical ecology of amphinomids, giving reasons for the success of H. carunculata in benthic environments and providing promising novel metabolites for biotechnological implications.  相似文献

The biocontrol fungus Trichoderma harzianum, from both marine and terrestrial environments, has attracted considerable attention. T. harzianum has a tremendous potential to produce a variety of bioactive secondary metabolites (SMs), which are an important source of new herbicides and antibiotics. This review prioritizes the SMs of T. harzianum from 1988 to June 2022, and their relevant biological activities. Marine-derived SMs, especially terpenoids, polyketides, and macrolides compounds, occupy a significant proportion of natural products from T. harzianum, deserving more of our attention.  相似文献

研究表明,液体培养条件下,茯苓经0~48h的适应期,48~144h的增殖期后进入稳定期,发酵液pH骤降。经检测,发酵液中含有包括十六烷酸和十八烷酸在内的有机酸;发酵罐培养120h,生物量≥30g/l00mL(鲜重)。茯苓营养浓缩液多糖含量≥5.0mg/mL,氨基酸含量≥480mg/100mL。动物实验证明,茯苓营养浓缩液具有显著的抗疲劳和提高机体免疫力作用,其重金属和微生物指标均符合国家标准。  相似文献

Compulsory integrated pest management poses a number of challenges and issues for debate. Some of are discussed with reference to European Union requirements set out in Annex III of Directive 128/2009. Requirements on the use of plant protection products bring with them problems with dose reduction in the light of a resistance prevention strategy, the lack of threshold levels, the necessity of chemical treatments and the limited availability of effective products of biological origin. Use of preventive measures of pest control faces barriers related to profitability and a lack of knowledge on the part of farmers. Organosulfur natural products (NPs) refer to the different kinds of small molecular-containing sulfur (S) elements. Sulfur-containing NPs tightly link to the biochemical processes and play an important role in the pharmaceutical industry. The majority of S-containing NPs are generally isolated from Alliaceae plants or bacteria, and those from fungi are still relatively rare. In recent years, an increasing number of S-containing metabolites have been discovered in marine and terrestrial fungi, but there is no comprehensive and targeted review to summarize the studies. In order to make it more straightforward to better grasp the fungal-derived S-containing NPs and understand the particularity of marine S-containing NPs compared to those from terrestrial fungi, we summarized the chemical structures and biological activities of 89 new fungal-derived S-containing metabolites from 1929 when the penicillin was discovered to the present in this current review. The structural and bioactive diversity of these S-containing metabolites were concluded in detail, and the preliminary mechanism for C-S bond formation in fungi was also discussed briefly.  相似文献

为探究杂粮品种及加工方式对杂粮酸奶体外抗氧化活性的影响,选择小米、黄米、燕麦、藜麦、糙米、荞麦、高粱米7种杂粮为原料,经过蒸制、煮制、打浆3种常见加工方式,比较其多酚含量及抗氧化活性,对特性较好的杂粮经恰当处理后与牛奶共发酵制备酸奶,研究该杂粮酸奶的多酚含量及抗氧化活性,开发具备抗氧化活性的杂粮酸奶。结果表明,7种杂粮之间的抗氧化能力存在显著(P<0.05)差异,采用抗氧化综合(antioxidant potency composite,APC)指数法评定杂粮的抗氧化活性,发现抗氧化活性最高的杂粮为荞麦。进一步对荞麦进行加工处理,发现蒸制处理后其抗氧化活性优于煮制和打浆。将蒸制的荞麦与牛奶混合制备酸奶,制成的荞麦酸奶总酚含量为52.85 mg/100g,是普通酸奶的5.16倍;且其抗氧化能力显著高于普通酸奶(P<0.05)。该研究为功能性杂粮酸奶的开发提供借鉴。  相似文献

针对水产品四环素残留的便捷化精准检测难题,该研究研制了一种四环素含量检测的便携式直读光电化学装置,并探究了装置用于鱼肉四环素残留检测的可行性。装置分别以LED和STC89C52单片机为激发光源和控制核心,利用设计的光源暗室避免外源光照对检测结果的影响。测试结果表明,LED激发光源的输出信号稳定,装置对于光电流信号的采集具有较好的准确性。进一步基于丝网印刷电极构建光电化学适配体传感器,采用所研制装置对信号进行采集与处理,最终以OLED显示器直接读取抗生素浓度信息。该方法对于四环素检测的线性范围为1?10-11~1?10-8 mol/L,检测限为3?10-12 mol/L,具有较好的选择性,且对于鱼肉四环素残留检测的回收率为92%~94%,为水产品四环素的精准现场分析提供了新的方法与途径。  相似文献
