Stress conditions experienced during growth may affect plant responses during post-harvest storage and eventually determine the overall quality of commercial products. In this context, we hypothesized that foliar applications of proline during the growth cycle and light exposure during post-harvest storage could be two important modulators of yield and quality parameters of rocket plants exposed to NaCl stress. Dry matter percentage increased upon NaCl treatment. However, fresh weight loss during storage did not change over time as a consequence of salt stress. High salinity (100 mM NaCl) moderately reduced both leaf nitrate (14%) and nitrite (3%) contents. Lipophilic (LAC) and hydrophilic (HAC) antioxidant activities also decreased by 10% at the highest salinization (average of two growth cycles). In contrast, during storage, LAC decreased whereas HAC increased. Proline applications reduced the leaf nitrate content during storage by 16%, increased carotenoids and chlorophyll contents in salinized plants and also increased the ascorbate leaf concentration in both salinized and non-salinzed plants. Light storage enhanced fresh weight loss in contrast to dark storage. However the exposure to light reduced leaf nitrate levels by 7% (average of two growth cycles) and contributed to maintain high leaf ascorbate concentrations over time.  相似文献

生物降解膜促进冬油菜养分吸收减少土壤硝态氮累积   总被引:7,自引:2,他引:5  
针对普通地膜覆盖导致的农田环境污染和土地退化问题,通过2 a田间试验,从土壤有机质含量、硝态氮累积与分布、作物养分吸收和籽粒产量等层面出发,进行了普通地膜覆盖(PM)、生物降解地膜覆盖(JM)和露地(CK)栽培冬油菜的对比研究。结果表明,播种后60和150 d,JM处理的土壤有机质含量、土壤硝态氮的累积和分布与PM处理无显著差异;播种后240 d,JM处理的土壤有机质含量显著大于PM处理,土壤硝态氮的累积量显著小于PM处理,且PM处理土壤硝态氮的淋洗下移峰值更大。PM和JM处理冬油菜的产量及地上部各器官的氮、磷、钾吸收量均显著大于CK,且PM和JM无显著差异。与PM处理相比,JM处理在播种后240 d时土壤有机质质量分数提高7.0%,土壤硝态氮累积量减少34.1%。可见,PM处理在冬油菜生育后期过分消耗地力,且残留在土壤中的硝态氮含量较高。该研究从土壤营养和作物养分吸收利用方面为生物降解地膜应用于农业生产的可行性提供了理论依据。  相似文献

The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of different fertigation treatments: T0 (control treatment), T1 (raw leachates from C. melo) and T2 (raw leachates from C. melo blended with tap water (50/50% v/v)) on plant growth, nutrient concentration in leachate and water and nutrient use efficiencies of rosemary. At the end of experiment, rosemary plants fertigated with leachates decreased the total dry weight and the water use efficiency compared to the control treatment. The fertigation with leachates from C. melo affected the values of the nutrient concentrations in leachates from rosemary plants during the experimental period and improved the nitrogen (NUE) and phosphorus (PUE) use efficiencies compared to the control treatment. Our results indicate that reuse of horticultural leachates for the fertigation of rosemary plant in containers assumes a water and nutrient savings, but from an environmental point of view, there is a risk of pollution.  相似文献

A two-year field experiment was carried out in a typical Mediterranean environment (Foggia, Southern Italy) to evaluate the effect of the reduction of nitrogen (N) fertilization on yield, quality, N uptake, N utilization efficiency, and on environmental impact of processing spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.). In a completely randomized experimental design with four replications, 50, 75, and 100% (150, 225, and 300 kg N ha?1, respectively) of the normal rate applied by the farmers in the trial area were compared. In both years, the total amount of the urea fertilizer applied was broadcasted three times. The results obtained indicate that a lower N fertilization level ensured a satisfactory yield, increased quality and N utilization efficiency. However, crop performances and the amount of N available for leaching were dependent by the weather conditions occurred during plants growth, being significant the year × N fertilization rate interaction.  相似文献

Abstract

The study investigates the effects of nitrogen fertilizers on the characteristics of the autumn crop of Chinese cabbage. The rates applied varied from 0 to 225 kg ha?1 (N0, N45, N90, N135, N180, N225); the supply of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers was similar in the all trials, 90 and 150 kg ha?1, respectively. It was found that the optimum nitrogen fertilization rate for the autumn crop of Chinese cabbage was N135. In the case of lower nitrogen rates the yield decreased and the cabbage heads were smaller. Further increase in fertilizer rate (>N135) resulted in a higher percentage of non-standard cabbage heads, while the yield remained almost unchanged compared with N135. The total plant mass of cabbage crop fertilized with N135 was 76 t ha?1; plant residues constituted 33 t ha?1 (43% of the total mass). The yield of market quality cabbage heads was 30 t ha?1 (70% of all the heads produced); the rest of heads were loose, not formed or rot-infected. The optimal amount of total mineral nitrogen (the sum of nitrogen present in the 0–60 cm soil layer and the nitrogen supplied with fertilizers) before planting was 260 kg ha?1. When nitrogen rates were higher than N180 the quality of cabbage heads in terms of the content of vitamin C, nitrates, soluble solids, total solids and sugars decreased.  相似文献

为了明确灌后复水(降水)对土壤中水氮分布的影响以及选择合理的灌施方式,通过室内模型试验,研究了在蓄水多坑肥灌条件下不同降水量(30.624,37.334,43.56 mm)所对应单坑不同复水量(140.1,228.7,400.5 mm)和不同复水时间(灌后1,5,10 d)对土壤水氮运移的影响.研究结果表明:复水后土壤含水率增大,复水量为228.7 mm及以上时,30~80 cm深度范围内土壤含水率均达到田间持水率的80%以上,且复水量越大或复水时间间隔越短,复水后水分分布越均匀;硝态氮在湿润锋处积累明显,复水后坑壁附近土壤硝态氮质量浓度降低,硝态氮质量浓度峰值向远处推进,复水量越大或复水时间间隔越短,硝态氮推进越远且向深处迁移越明显;复水后铵态氮质量分数在近坑处降低,在距坑较远处增加,但变化幅度均不大,复水量越大,或复水时间间隔越短,对铵态氮质量浓度影响越大,复水后土壤铵态氮分布越均匀.  相似文献

Abstract. A national agri-environmental database and nitrate modelling system has been developed to support the UK government's nitrate policy development. The framework, 'MAGPIE', consists of a database and models linked within a Geographical Information System and provides a user interface which allows detailed spatial and statistical investigation of the current state (data and model output) and the impact of changes in conditions or agricultural practice. Data on crops and livestock numbers taken from the annual agricultural census were modified in relation to land cover data derived from remote sensing, and other sources. These data and data on climate, soils and altitude were interpolated to a 1 km grid. The models of nitrate loss were adapted to work with this data set while retaining as far as possible the salient features of the more detailed models and data from which they were derived. The resulting Policy Decision Support System was found to give estimates of mean annual flow and nitrate load for agricultural catchments which matched measured data closely. The system has contributed to work on a number of policy issues both within the UK and in the UK's contribution to international policy development on pollution derived from agriculture.  相似文献

A deficiency in selenium(Se) in the human diet is a worldwide problem. The intake of Se-rich vegetables can be a safe way to combat Se deficiency for humans. However, most leafy vegetables can accumulate a high content of nitrates, which poses a potential threat to human health. Light is an important environmental factor that regulates the uptake and distribution of mineral elements and nitrogen metabolism in plants. However, the effects of Se forms and light conditions, especially light spectra, on the uptake and translocation of Se and on nitrate reduction are poorly understood. In this study, lettuce(Lactuca sativa L.) was treated with exogenous Se applied as selenate(10 mmol L~(-1)) and selenite(0.5 mmol L~(-1)) and grown under five different light spectra: fluorescent light(FL), monochromatic red LED light(R), monochromatic blue LED light(B), and mixed red and blue LED light with a red to blue light ratio at 4(R/B=4), 8(R/B=8), and 12(R/B=12), respectively. The effects of light spectra and Se forms on plant growth, photosynthetic performance, Se accumulation and nitrate reduction were investigated. The results showed that the light spectra and Se forms had significant interactions for plant growth, foliar Se accumulation and nitrate reduction. The Se concentration and nitrate content in the leaves were negatively correlated with the percentage of red light from the light sources. Compared to Se applied as selenite, exogenous Se applied as selenate was more effective in reducing nitrate via promoting nitrate reductase and glutamate synthase activities. The lowest nitrate content and highest plant biomass were observed under R/B=8 for both the selenate and selenite treatments. The significant effect of the light spectra on the root concentration factor and translocation factor of Se resulted in marked variations in the Se concentrations in the roots and leaves. Compared with FL, red and blue LED light led to significant decreases in the foliar Se concentration. The results from this study suggest that the light spectra can contribute to Se distribution and accumulation to produce vegetables with better food quality.  相似文献

以固体碳源反硝化工艺应用于闭合循环养殖废水的脱氮提供理论和技术参数为目的,研究了以一种非水溶性可生物降解多聚物材料(BDPs)聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(PBS)作为反硝化碳源和生物膜载体的填料床反应器对含盐水体硝酸盐的去除效果及动力学特征。结果表明:水力停留时间对NO3--N去除效果影响较大,NO3--N去除率随水力停留时间延长而提高。在温度为(29±1)℃,进水NO3--N质量浓度为25~236 mg/L的条件下,进水NO3--N负荷低于0.32 kg/(m3·d)时,NO3--N体积去除负荷随进水NO3--N负荷的增加呈线性上升;进水NO3--N负荷为0.32 kg/(m3·d)时达到最大NO3--N体积去除负荷为0.21 kg/(m3·d);进一步提高进水NO3--N负荷则NO3--N体积去除负荷开始下降且出水中出现NO2--N积累。动力学研究结果表明以PBS为碳源和生物膜载体的反硝化速率遵循一级反应动力学。用Eckenfelder模型拟合,求出反应速度常数K值和常数n值且相关性良好。采用该动力学模型参数可以预测出水NO3--N浓度并用于实际闭合循环养殖系统的工程设计和优化运行。  相似文献

We investigated the effects of poultry manures (PM) and cow manures (CM) using estimated mineralizable nitrogen (EMN) method on nitrate, nutrient content and growth parameters of komatsuna and compared with chemical fertilizer (CF) in an abandoned soil. We applied manures as EMN based on their total N content. The 100% of EMN by PM or CM enhanced dry matter (DM) but depressed nitrate content. The PM-Keifun (PMK) with total N (4.87%) produced greater growth parameters, DM, nutrient content and lower nitrate content but manures with total N (<2%) could not. The solo CF150 did not promote leaf number but increased nitrate and Na content. In conclusion, a higher total N (>4%) concentration of manure led to increase availability and nutrient contents, DM, and depressed nitrate content of komatsuna, comparable with solo CF in an abandoned soil.  相似文献
