The expediency of aerobic microbiological fermentation of poultry farm manure for producing biofertilizer with a multifunctional spectrum of action and solving ecological problems in commercial poultry farming zones is shown. Complexes of amylose or high-amylose corn starch (HACS) with genistein were prepared by the acidification of an alkali solution to yield a V 6IotaIotaIota structure. The amylose-genistein complexes exhibited significantly higher genistein content (11 mg/100 mg of complex) than HACS-genistein complexes (9 mg/100 mg of complex). The effect of genistein on the amylose complexes was examined in different genistein-amylose ratios, and a model for genistein organization in the amylose complexes was suggested. The complexes were stable at different pH values, with <10% of the complexed genistein released, and were stable at 30 and 50 degrees C. Lower stability was observed at 80 degrees C as shown by the extensive release of genistein. All complexes showed high retention of genistein in simulated stomach conditions and released genistein upon digestion in pancreatin solution. It is therefore suggested that the complexes can be used as carriers for the slow release of genistein.  相似文献

Regularities of extracting humic acids from different soil types (soddy-podzolic soil, gray forest soil, and all chernozem subtypes) with sodium pyrophosphate solutions at different pH values (from 5 to 13) have been studied. It is found that, regardless of soil type, the process occurs in two stages through the dissociation of carboxylic groups and phenolic hydroxyls, each of which can be described by a logistic function. Parameters of the logistic equations approximating the extraction of humic acids from soils at different pH values are independent of the content and composition of humus in soils. Changes in the optical density of humic acids extracted from soils using sodium pyrophosphate solutions with different pH values are described in the first approximation by the Gaussian function. The optically densest humic acids are extracted using sodium pyrophosphate solutions at pH 10. Therefore, it is proposed to use an extract with pH 10 for the characterization of organic matter with the maximum possible degree of humification in the given soil.  相似文献

The development of saplings of four plum varieties depending on the type of rootstock, as which served various select forms of cherry plum, is studied. It is found that solutions of humic substances isolated from municipal composts are not inferior in effectiveness to commercial preparations. Thus, the germination rate of garden cress seeds and length of roots and shoots increase; the weight of the plants increases as a result of treating the leaves. The number and biomass of microorganisms in the soils under lichen, grass-bilberry, and grass spruce forests of old age were studied on the Kola Peninsula. The dry biomass of microorganisms in the organic soil horizons was shown to reach 28 mg/g with a predominance (96 to 99%) of micromycetes. At tree trunk sites, in the organic horizons of all the soils studied, where the contents of organic carbon and mineral nutrients were higher, the number and biomass of all the groups of microorganisms was lower than in those in the soils of the gaps. The factors limiting the functioning of microorganisms in the soils under spruce tree crowns are thought to be the high acidity of the water flowing down the tree trunks and the high phenol content in it. In the mineral horizons of the soils, the patterns of the microorganisms were opposite: in all the spruce forests, the fungal biomass was the highest in the soils of the trunk zones, as well as the bacterial population and biomass in the grass spruce forest. In the latter, the maximal length of the actinomycete mycelium was also recorded in the soil of the trunk zones with the elevated contents of carbon and mineral nutrients.  相似文献

Like many bacterial pathogens, Salmonella spp. use a type III secretion system to inject virulence proteins into host cells. The Salmonella invasion protein A (SipA) binds host actin, enhances its polymerization near adherent extracellular bacteria, and contributes to cytoskeletal rearrangements that internalize the pathogen. By combining x-ray crystallography of SipA with electron microscopy and image analysis of SipA-actin filaments, we show that SipA functions as a "molecular staple," in which a globular domain and two nonglobular "arms" mechanically stabilize the filament by tethering actin subunits in opposing strands. Deletion analysis of the tethering arms provides strong support for this model.  相似文献
