使用超效率DEA方法,对5类农村金融机构的服务扩展性和财务可持续性效率进行比较研究。实证结果表明:无论在服务扩展性还是可持续性方面,农村资金互助社的技术效率优于村镇银行;农村信用社在服务扩展性方面优于改制后的农村合作银行和农村商业银行,但在可持续性方面,则逊于二者。在服务扩展性方面,农村信用社处在规模报酬不变阶段,而其他4类农村金融机构均处在规模报酬递增阶段。基于以上研究结论,农村金融在增量改革方面,应以更积极的态度发展农村资金互助组织;在存量改革方面,则应积极推进农村信用社的商业化改革;从农村金融市场整体来看,应进一步放松管制,发展更多的各类金融机构,以提升农村金融行业的规模效率。 相似文献

The Medical Sciences Library at Texas A&M University (MSL) participates in the National Library of Medicine (NLM) National Network of Libraries of Medicine South Central Region (NN/LM) Regional Resource Library outreach initiative. This program generally funds regional outreach activities promoting NLM information resources. The MSL and veterinary library community recognized practicing clinical veterinarians as an underserved population. The 2013–2014 MSL outreach proposal combined traditional activities with the development of materials to assist veterinarians with NLM resources, and exhibit to a national audience. This article provides an overview of the NN/LM SCR Resource Library Outreach Awards, an overview of MSL outreach activities for the year, and lessons learned. 相似文献

In fall 2012, the agriculture librarian at Louisiana State University Libraries began to embed library instruction, resources, and services within the University's Agricultural Residential College. The purpose of the collaboration was to incorporate information literacy into the agriculture curriculum and to introduce 1st-year students to library services and resources. The collaboration resulted in a number of benefits for the agriculture librarian and the agriculture college. Sustaining the collaboration is a challenge with changes in leadership and program focus. This article will describe the agriculture librarian's embedding efforts, identify issues in sustaining such a high level of embedding, and discuss strategies for moving the collaboration forward. 相似文献

ABSTRACT Educational outreach, especially from land-grant universities, will have a more prominent, visible role in the twenty-first century. There is a widespread belief among university leaders that the effect of universities must reach beyond the limits of the campus to positively influence the social, cultural and economic well-being of constituents. Enhanced outreach efforts will involve all academic units and provide appropriate faculty rewards for their accomplishments. Existing extension/outreach organizations such as Cooperative Extension Services will expand their base to draw from the total university expertise and knowledge base. Funding will be a challenge as public resources become less available. This study describes how University of Minnesota Extension staff locate and use information to accomplish daily activities. The major findings were: (a) information seeking is a daily or weekly need; (b) staff use predominately online resources from a variety of sources—peer-reviewed journals, technical or research reports, and government information—and use search engines most frequently to locate them; and (c) Extension staff are aware of the majority of library resources and services. ABSTRACT Texas Agricultural Extension Service (TAEX) has been experimenting with electronic information servers as an adjunct to traditional information distribution methods. Information servers may be easily established on inexpensive (< $1,500 US) computers running all free software. A brief analysis of present usage is presented, and cost savings documented. Growing populations of American alligators (Alligator mississippiensis) in human-dominated landscapes present a challenge to wildlife managers concerned with promoting coexistence between humans and alligators. Where structural fixes such as direct removal of animals are not viable options, cognitive fixes such as conservation education programs should be considered. We evaluated the effectiveness of two conservation education programs (classroom-based program, field excursion) on three outcome variables that help define wildlife acceptance capacity for American alligators: beliefs and attitudes, perceived risk, and potential for coexistence. We found respondents who took part in both education programs had more positive beliefs and attitudes toward alligators, and believed in a greater potential for coexistence than individuals in a control group who did not undergo either intervention. Control group respondents also perceived higher risk from alligators. These data suggest that conservation education programs can impact stakeholder beliefs, attitudes, and perceptions, ultimately influencing acceptance capacity for predators. 相似文献
