灌溉渠系运行计算机模拟技术的开发

借鉴日本以及其他国家在灌溉渠系水管理方面的成果和经验，结合我国灌区的实际情况，建立了较完整的渠系运行模型，编制了具有一定通用性和可扩充性的计算机模拟软件。实践表明，该软件对于测试和评价渠系的力学特性、工程控制特性和管理调度特性是有效的，它为改进灌区水管理提供了一个科学、简便、可行的技术手段。     

对高校图书馆图书验收工作的实践与思考

高校图书馆的图书验收工作是藏书建设的重要环节。通过对新进图书的验收实践,指出在当前高校年进书量成倍增长的情况下验收中容易出现的问题并提出一些解决方法。     

Emerging Communication Technologies

ABSTRACT

In this age of personal computing and global telecommunication, we might define communication as the ability to acquire, process and convey information. Computer and telecommunication technologies, which are advancing at exponential rates, are greatly enhancing our ability to communicate. Within the next ten years, virtually every desk-top office worker will have a super personal computer on their desk, and broadband communication will be less demanding than a long distance call. These trends will reduce the ability to acquire, process, and exchange large volumes of information to a commodity routinely taken for granted. Universal access to this commodity will propel us into a new age of communication. All of humanity will benefit. Those who embrace this new age will lead and flourish; the rest will follow.     

The Status of Library Automation in the 1890 Land-Grant Institutions

ABSTRACT

Seventeen historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) had the unique distinction of being designated land-grant institutions in 1890. There is surprisingly little information in the library literature describing the state of automation in academic libraries and even less about the state of automation in the seventeen historically black land-grant universities. The authors designed a questionnaire that would serve as the instrument for a base survey of the state of automation in these libraries. The results of this survey are presented in the following article.     

AN APPROACH TO SHARE DISTRIBUTED RESOURCES IN A LOCAL AREA NETWORK

An algorithm of sharing distributed resoumes in a local area network is proposed , which is based on Queuing theory and statistics of probability. It is proved by means of a emulative program that this algorithm is simple, feasible and applicable.

农田环境下无人机图像并行拼接识别算法

为改善在农田环境下无人机图像计算速度和效率,该研究提出了一种农田环境下无人机图像并行拼接识别算法。利用倒二叉树并行拼接识别算法,通过提取图像拼接中的变换矩阵,实现拼接识别同时进行。根据边缘设备的CPU核心数和图像数量自动将图像拼接识别任务划分为多个子进程,并分配到不同核心上执行,以提高在农田环境下的计算效率。试验结果表明：相同试验环境和数据集条件下,倒二叉树并行拼接算法的拼接耗时相较于商业软件平均减少了60%～90%左右;在农田环境下,倒二叉树并行拼接识别相较于串行拼接识别的耗时减少了70%,图像识别的平均像素交并比提升了10.17个百分点,说明在农田环境下采用多线程倒二叉树并行算法可以更好地利用农田环境下边缘设备的计算资源,大幅提升无人机图像的拼接和识别的速度,为无人机的快速实时监测提供技术支撑。
