ABSTRACT Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici, the causal agent of Fusarium crown and root rot of tomato, and F. oxysporum f. sp. basilici, the causal agent of Fusarium wilt in basil, are soilborne pathogens capable of producing conspicuous masses of macroconidia along the stem. The role of the airborne propagules in the epidemics of the disease in tomato plants was studied. In the field, airborne propagules of F. oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici were trapped with a selective medium and their prevalence was determined. Plants grown in both covered and uncovered pots, detached from the field soil, and exposed to natural aerial inoculum developed typical symptoms (82 to 87% diseased plants). The distribution of inoculum in the growth medium in the pots also indicated the occurrence of foliage infection. In greenhouse, foliage and root inoculations were carried out with both tomato and basil and their respective pathogens. Temperature and duration of high relative humidity affected rate of colonization of tomato, but not of basil, by the respective pathogens. Disease incidence in foliage-inoculated plants reached 75 to 100%. In these plants, downward movement of the pathogens from the foliage to the crown and roots was observed. Wounding enhanced pathogen invasion and establishment in the foliage-inoculated plants. The sporulation of the two pathogens on stems, aerial dissemination, and foliage infection raise the need for foliage protection in addition to soil disinfestation, in the framework of an integrated disease management program.  相似文献

 近年,在河北省部分烟草和向日葵种植地发现大量寄生性杂草列当发生并造成严重为害。经鉴定为向日葵列当Orobanche cumana Wallr.。向日葵、烟草、番茄和黄瓜等作物的根分泌物能够刺激向日葵列当O. cumana种子萌发,而油葵根的分泌物则不能刺激向日葵列当种子萌发。利用列当致病镰刀菌L2菌株进行田间生物防治,防治效果达到92.4%。L2菌株对小麦、玉米、棉花、烟草和向日葵等作物生长无影响,L2菌株粗毒素能够抑制列当种子萌发,并造成列当种子萌芽管损伤。  相似文献

本研究采用形态学观察、核糖体DNA转录间隔区(ITS)克隆、系统发育树和致病力检测等方法对河南周口地区番茄茎腐病菌进行分子鉴定和致病力检测,以期为茎腐病的抗病育种及病害防治提供一定的理论依据。形态学观察结果显示,从周口地区番茄上分离的茎腐病病原菌属于镰孢属,ITS序列分析及系统进化树分析进一步确定其为茄镰孢,分离物与茄镰孢福建分离物(JN232141.1)亲缘关系最近,聚在一个进化支上,致病力检测结果表明在测试的植物中该病菌对茄科植物龙葵的致病力最强,该病菌寄主范围广,可侵染茄科、十字花科多种植物。  相似文献

从番茄和辣椒植株中共分离到9株对植物病原真菌具有拈抗作用的内生细菌。其中,来自樱桃番茄的内生细菌株系BS-1和湘研辣椒的内生细菌株系BS-4对辣椒根腐病菌等具有较强的拈抗作用,两者在植株体内均可以定殖。BS-1和BS-4均属于芽孢杆菌。  相似文献

从作物根际土壤中分离到1056株细菌,筛选出7个具有较强拮抗活性的菌株。室内测定对水稻纹枯病菌、辣椒疫病菌、瓜果腐霉、油菜菌核病菌、棉花枯萎病菌、茄根腐病菌、棉花黄萎病菌、番茄青枯病菌、甘蓝黑腐病菌等重要土传病原菌有较强拮抗作用;温室盆栽试验对番茄青枯病表现出较好防效,其中以BOH2和OH11效果较为明显,防效分别为90.9%和86.4%。通过形态观察、生理生化试验和16SrDNA序列分析,确定OH11为产酶溶杆菌。BOH3为荧光假单胞菌,其余5个菌株为不同芽孢杆菌。  相似文献

Twelve 4-(substituted phenoxy)methyl-6-methyl coumarins were synthesised by the condensation of 4-chloromethyl-6-methyl coumarin with various phenols in the presence of potassium carbonate in dry acetone. The compounds were tested for their toxicity towards the mycelial growth of seven plant pathogenic fungi. Among the tested fungi, Pythium aphanidermatum, Colletotrichum falcatum, Drechslera oryzae, Alternaria alternata and Fusarium solani exhibited maximum sensitivity whereas Macrophomina phaseolina and Rhizoctonia solani were least sensitive to the test compounds. The 4-(4-tert-butylphenoxy)methyl and 4-(4-nitrophenoxy)methyl analogues possessed greatest toxicity towards the majority of the tested fungi.  相似文献

A series of 2-alkyl-7, 8-dihydro-3-hydroxynaphtho[1,2-c]chromen-6-ones was synthesised by the condensation of ethyl 3, 4-dihydro-1-oxonaphthalene-2-carboxylate with substituted phenols in the presence of POCl3. The compounds were characterised and tested for their toxicity towards the mycelial growth of seven phytopathogenic fungi in culture. Drechslera oryzae, Rhizoctonia solani and Colletotrichum falcatum exhibited maximum sensitivity to these compounds whereas Macro-phomina phaseolina, Fusarium solani, Alternaria alternata and Pythium aphanidermatum were less sensitive. 2-Ethyl-7, 8-dihydro-3-hydroxy-naphtho[1,2-c]chromen-6-ones possessed greatest toxicity with EC50 values ranging from 0.2 to 2.5 μg ml?1 against all fungi except A. alternata and P. aphanidermatum.  相似文献

为了筛选新的生防菌菌种资源,采用稀释涂布平板法从番茄植株中分离得到一株内生细菌wm031,采用平板对峙法研究其对病原菌的抑制效果,结合菌体特征、16S rDNA序列分析及生理生化指标,对其进行初步鉴定,明确分类地位,并采用温室栽培试验对其进行抗病效果初探。结果表明,该菌株对西瓜枯萎病菌具有显著拮抗作用,同时对油菜菌核病菌、小麦根腐病菌、小麦全蚀病菌、辣椒疫霉病菌、大蒜菌核病菌、水稻恶苗病菌、葡萄炭疽病菌和番茄枯萎病菌均具有广谱抗性。根据菌体特征、16S rDNA序列分析及生理生化指标的结果,初步鉴定该菌为特基拉芽胞杆菌Bacillus tequilens。该菌株能够在西瓜和水稻植株中稳定定殖。温室栽培试验表明,菌株wm031对西瓜枯萎病具有显著的防治效果74.6%,高出百菌清的防治效果14.1%,说明该菌株具有田间应用开发的潜力。  相似文献

Seven 6-alkyl-3-n-butyl-7-hydroxy-4-methylcoumarins and three other related substituted coumarins were synthesised, characterised and tested for their toxicity towards mycelial growth of seven phytopathogenic fungi in culture. Rhizoctonia solani, Alternaria alternate, and Drechslera oryzae exhibited maximum sensitivity to these compounds whereas Pythium aphanidermatum, Colletotrichum falcatum, Fusarium solani and Macro-phomina phaseolina were less sensitive. The 6-n-butyl and 6-n-pentyl derivatives possessed strongest toxicity towards all fungi except C. falcatum but the corresponding 6-n-propyl derivative was inhibitory to only D. oryzae and A. alternata.  相似文献

The level of resistance of carnation ( Dianthus caryophyllus ) cultivars to wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. dianthi was compared in root-dip-inoculated plants grown in pots (filled with tuff or sandy soil) in a greenhouse and plants grown in a field where the soil was artificially infested with the fungus. In the field, wilt symptoms appeared first in susceptible and subsequently in resistant cultivars; none was immune. Variations in the level of resistance were expressed either by different percentages of wilted plants (i.e. disease incidence) or by delayed disease progress as compared to a susceptible cultivar. The range of disease severity in the field, ranked on a scale from 0 to 4, was highly and significantly correlated with the percentage of diseased plants. The greenhouse test was unreliable as a predictor of the degree of resistance observed in the field. Similar wilt levels in the greenhouse and the field were found only in susceptible cultivars.  相似文献

The parasitic flowering plants of the genera Orobanche and Phelipanche (broomrape species) are obligatory chlorophyll-lacking root-parasitic weeds that infect dicotyledonous plants and cause heavy economic losses in a wide variety of plant species in warm-temperate and subtropical regions. One of the most effective strategies for broomrape control is crop breeding for broomrape resistance. Previous efforts to find natural broomrape-resistant tomato (Solanum lycopersicon) genotypes were unsuccessful, and no broomrape resistance was found in any wild tomato species. Recently, however, the fast-neutron-mutagenized tomato mutant SL-ORT1 was found to be highly resistant to various Phelipanche and Orobanche spp. Nevertheless, SL-ORT1 plants were parasitized by Phelipanche aegyptiaca if grown in pots together with the susceptible tomato cv. M-82. In the present study, no toxic activity or inhibition of Phelipanche seed germination could be detected in the SL-ORT1 root extracts. SL-ORT1 roots did not induce Phelipanche seed germination in pots but they were parasitized, at the same level as M-82, after application of the synthetic germination stimulant GR24 to the rhizosphere. Whereas liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry analysis of root exudates of M-82 revealed the presence of the strigolactones orobanchol, solanacol, and didehydro-orobanchol isomer, these compounds were not found in the exudates of SL-ORT1. It can be concluded that SL-ORT1 resistance results from its inability to produce and secrete natural germination stimulants to the rhizosphere.  相似文献

经分离、培养对不同菌种培养性状的观察,确定了侵染黄瓜、黑籽南瓜造成死秧的镰刀菌主要为尖镰孢菌黄瓜专化型、尖镰孢菌西瓜专化型、串珠镰刀菌和腐皮镰孢菌4种。经致病性测定,4种镰刀菌均能侵染黄瓜,引起发病造成死秧,可分为强致病类型和中强致病类型。经抗病性鉴定,黑籽南瓜种子只有南瓜4号为耐病品种;黄瓜种子也只有津优31号为耐病品种。  相似文献

“早衰”是高粱生产和育种上存在的普遍现象。长期以来被认为是一种生理性病害。经4年研究证明它是草酸青霉(Penicilliem axalicum)和纤细交链孢霉(Allernaria allernala)于初花期浸染而引起的一种高粱穗部病害。主要症状是颖壳及与其连接的枝梗组织坏死,阻止了养分、水分向上输导,造成籽粒秕瘦变小。一般减产10%以上。这是国内首次报道的高粱新病害,定名为高粱青霉颖枯病,此病在初花期用多菌灵防治有较好效果。  相似文献

 从广西一些市县采集番茄茎标本分离得到55个细菌菌株,分属为芽孢杆菌(Bacillus spp.)、黄单胞菌(Xanthomonas spp.)、假单胞菌(Pseudomonas spp.)和欧文氏菌(Erwinia spp.),其中芽孢杆菌为优势种群。经回接测试,有36个菌株为番茄植株内生菌。这些内生菌只有7个菌株对番茄青枯病菌有拮抗作用,芽孢杆菌B47菌株对番茄青枯病菌拮抗作用较强,经室内和田间初步防治测定,它对番茄青枯病有较好的防治效果。  相似文献

 1991年在浙江湖州市和杭州市采集得百合(Lilium brownii F. E. Brown var. viridulum Baker)鳞茎有褐色斑点的标本104份,分离出纯菌株108个。鉴定为2个镰刀菌种:Fusarium solani(Mart.)Sacc. 和F. oxysporum Schlecht. F. solani出现频率84.3%,占优势.田间调查和接种试验证明F.solani是百合鳞茎褐色斑点病主要致病菌。在20种植物上接种试验结果表明:F.solani对百合有专化性,因此鉴定其病原菌为茄病镰孢一个新专化型:Fusarium solajni f. sp.lilii Wang.  相似文献

A rapid, simple and reliable procedure was developed to evaluate biological control of Fusarium wilt of tomato by Penicillium oxalicum . The method consists in growing tomato plants in flasks with nutrient solution in a growth chamber. Plants were previously treated in the seedbed with a conidial suspension (107 conidia mL−1) of P. oxalicum 7 days before transplanting. Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (race 2) was added to the Hoagland solution just before transplanting. Different concentrations and several isolates of F. oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici were tested. Using this method, plants showed typical symptoms of the disease and the effect of the biocontrol agent was clear. Consumption of nutrient solution was reduced in diseased plants, and this reduction was diminished by treatment with P.oxalicum . Consumption of nutrient solution was correlated with other disease-related parameters (AUDPC, weight of aerial parts, stunting) and was an easy and objective parameter to measure.  相似文献

In a 4-year disease survey in commercial spinach fields, pathogens were isolated from spinach root pieces placed on selective agar media. Aphanomyces cladogamus was the most abundant pathogen, followed by Phytophthora. cryptogea and Fusarium oxysporum. Rhizoctonia solani was found only occasionally. Other pathogens isolated were F. redolens, F. sambucinum and Cylindrocarpon destructans. P. cryptogea was the most severe pathogen, causing death of most plants, but A. cladogamus also caused severe root damage. Isolates of F. oxysporum ranged from highly pathogenic, i.e. P. oxysporum f.sp. spinaciae race 1. to moderately pathogenic and non-pathogenic, Rhizoctonia solani isolates also varied widely in their pathogenicity. Only a small number of the F. redotens and F. sambucinum isolates were pathogenic and most C. destructans isolates were weakly pathogenic. Isolation frequencies were relatively stable from year to year, but P. cryptogea was isolated more frequently in autumn than in spring. No clear relationships were found between pathogen prevalence and disease severity index of surveyed field plants, between pathogen prevalence and plant developmental stage, or between prevalence of the different pathogens isolated.  相似文献

ABSTRACT Plants exhibiting symptoms of wilt and xylem discoloration typical of Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici were observed in greenhouses of cherry tomatoes at various sites in Israel. However, the lower stems of some of these plants were covered with a pink layer of macroconidia of F. oxysporum. This sign resembles the sporulating layer on stems of tomato plants infected with F. oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici, which causes the crown and root rot disease. Monoconidial isolates of F. oxysporum from diseased plants were assigned to vegetative compatibility group 0030 of F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici and identified as belonging to race 1 of F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici. The possibility of coinfection with F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici and F. oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici was excluded by testing several macroconidia from each plant. Airborne propagules of F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici were trapped on selective medium in greenhouses in which plants with a sporulating layer had been growing. Sporulation on stems was reproduced by inoculating tomato plants with races 1 and 2 of F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici. This phenomenon has not been reported previously with F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici and might be connected to specific environmental conditions, e.g., high humidity. The sporulation of F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici on plant stems and the resultant aerial dissemination of macroconidia may have serious epidemiological consequences. Sanitation of the greenhouse structure, as part of a holistic disease management approach, is necessary to ensure effective disease control.  相似文献

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens IUMC7 isolated from mushroom compost inhibited growth of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (FOL) on culture plates, and a culture supernatant of IUMC7 inhibited in vitro germ tube elongation of FOL. When compared with control soils, mushroom compost inoculated with IUMC7 significantly reduced disease severity caused by FOL in tomato plants. PCR tests for expression of PR genes indicated that IUMC7 did not induce resistance in tomato plants. These results suggested that the suppression of disease was mainly caused by antimicrobial compounds produced by IUMC7.  相似文献
