An experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation of xylo-oligosaccharides(XOS) on growth performance, meat quality, immune functions, duodenal morphology and intestinal microbial populations of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal basal diet. A total of 450 1-day-old commercial Arbor Acres male broiler chicks were randomly allocated by bodyweight to 1 of 5 treatments with 6 replicate cages(15 broilers per cage) for each of 5 treatments in a completely randomized design. Chicks were fed the basal corn-soybean meal diets supplemented with 0, 25, 50, 75, or 100 mg of XOS kg–1 of diet, respectively, for an experimental duration of 42 days. The results showed that supplementation of XOS affected feed conversion rate(feed/gain, F/G) during days 22–42 and 1–42(P0.03), drip loss in thigh muscle(P=0.02), and duodenal crypt depth(P=0.005) on day 42, but had no effect(P0.05) on all other measured indices. The chicks fed the diet supplemented with 100 mg of XOS kg–1 had the lowest(P0.05) F/G and drip loss in thigh muscle. The drip loss in thigh muscle decreased linearly(P=0.003) as the supplemented XOS increased. Duodenal crypt depth decreased(P0.05) at the supplemental level of 75 mg of XOS kg–1. The results indicate that dietary supplementations of 75 and 100 mg of XOS kg–1 are beneficial to broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet.  相似文献

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of selenium(Se) source and level on growth performance, carcass traits, antioxidative ability and meat quality of broilers. A total of 320 one-d-old Arbor Acres commercial broilers were randomly assigned to 1 of 5 treatments with 8 replicates in a completely randomized design involving a 2×2 factorial arrangement of treatments plus one Se-unsupplemented basal diet control for 42 d. The two Se sources were sodium selenite and Se yeast, and the two supplemental Se levels were 0.20 and 0.40 mg Se kg–1. The results showed that broilers fed the Se-supplemented diets had higher(P0.05) average daily gain and average daily feed intake from 22 to 42 d of age, eviscerated yield and abdominal fat percentages, Se concentrations and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) activities in breast and thigh muscles on d 42, and lower(P0.05) feed/gain from 1 to 21 and 22 to 42 d of age, mortality from 22 to 42 d of age and malondialdehyde(MDA) concentration in thigh muscle on d 42 than those fed the control diet. Broilers fed the diets supplemented with Se yeast had higher(P0.05) p H value and lower(P0.05) shear force in thigh muscle than those fed the diets supplemented with sodium selenite. Additionally, broilers fed the diets supplemented with 0.40 mg Se kg–1 had lower(P0.05) shear force in thigh muscle and higher(P0.05) GSH-Px activities in breast and thigh muscles than those fed the diets supplemented with 0.20 mg Se kg–1. Furthermore, broilers fed the diet supplemented with Se yeast at 0.40 mg Se kg–1 had higher(P0.05) Se concentrations in breast and thigh muscles than those fed the diet supplemented with Se yeast at 0.20 mg Se kg–1, but no differences(P0.05) were observed in these indices of broilers fed the diets supplemented with sodium selenite between 0.20 and 0.40 mg Se kg–1. The results from the present study indicated that supplemental Se could increase the growth performance, muscle Se concentration and antioxidative ability of broilers; and the Se from Se yeast was more effective than the Se from sodium selenite in improving meat quality of broilers.  相似文献

In this article, in vitro adsorption of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) onto different adsorbents was characterized and the result was verified by comparing the growth performance and serum protein levels of broilers exposed to aflatoxin-contamination feed. Main components of adsorbents selected were yeast cell extracts (Product A), HSCAS (Product B), and a mixture of yeast product and HSCAS (Product C), respectively. A total of 240 broilers were assigned to eight treatments, and the effects of three types of adsorbents on growth performance and serum protein levels were evaluated. Results indicated that Product B had the highest in vitro affinity for AFB1, followed by Product C and Product A. Product B bound 97.69% of the AFB1 in solution in 10 min, and it remained over 96.03% in 60 min at pH 8.0. The B-AFB1 complex was much stronger than the other two complexes in vitro condition (P 〈 0.05). Feed intake (FI) and average daily gain (ADG) decreased (P 〈 0.05) and feed gain ratio increased (P 〈0.05) in the treatment fed aflatoxin-contaminated feed versus treatment on the basal feed. Serum total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), and globulin (GLOB) levels were significantly decreased (P〈0.05). Product B (0.15%) increased growth performance and improved serum protein levels, Product A and Product C were not as effective as Product B. Three adsorbents tested here had sufficient potential to AFBt in some extents and Product B could bind AFB1 more effectively than Product A and Product C. These results indicated that Product B could alleviate some of the AFBt toxic effect in broilers.  相似文献

An experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation with flavonoid from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi(SBGFN) as SBGFN-zinc(SBGFN-Zn) on growth performance, meat quality, immune responses and antioxidation of broilers. A total of 450 one-d-old Arbor Acres male broilers were randomly allocated to 5 treatments with 6 replicates of 15 birds per replicate for each treatment in a completely randomized design. Birds were fed a SBGFN-unsupplemented cornsoybean meal basal diet(control) or the basal diet supplemented with 60, 120, 180 or 240 mg SBGFN kg~(–1) from SBGFN-Zn for 42 d. Dietary SBGFN supplementation affected(P0.03) drip loss in thigh muscle, total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD) and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) activity in liver of broilers at 42 d of age. Chicks fed the diets supplemented with 120, 180 and 240 mg SBGFN kg~(–1) had lower(P0.03) drip loss of thigh muscle than those fed the control diet. Chicks fed the diet supplemented with 180 mg SBGFN kg~(–1) had higher(P0.03) liver T-SOD and GSH-Px activity than those fed the diets supplemented with 0, 60 and 120 mg SBGFN kg~(–1). The results from the present study indicate that dietary supplementation with 180 mg SBGFN kg~(–1) as SBGFN-Zn improved both meat quality and antioxidative ability of broilers.  相似文献

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation with pyrroloquinoline quinone(PQQ) in the form of PQQ disodium(PQQ·Na2) on the growth performance, carcass traits, meat quality and antioxidative ability of broilers. A total of 720 one-d-old Arbor Acres male broilers were randomly allocated to 1 of 6 treatments with 8 replicates of 15 birds per replicate in a completely randomized design. Birds were fed a PQQ·Na2-unsupplemented corn-soybean meal basal diet(control) or the basal diet supplemented with 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 or 0.5 mg PQQ·Na2 kg–1 for 42 d. Compared with the control chicks, the chicks fed the diets supplemented with PQQ·Na2 had lower(P0.05) feed:gain(F/G) during the grower phase and drip losses of breast muscles on day 42. As supplemental PQQ·Na2 level increased, plasma total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) on d 42, liver T-AOC on d 21 and heart T-AOC on d 21 and 42 increased linearly(P0.05), but malondialdehyde concentrations in plasma, liver and heart on d 21 or 42 decreased linearly(P0.001) or quadratically(P0.005). The results from the present study indicate that dietary supplemental PQQ·Na2 can improve antioxidant ability and meat quality of broilers, and in general, it is implied that the optimal supplemental PQQ·Na2 level is 0.1 mg kg–1 of diet for broilers from 1 to 42 d of age.  相似文献

One hundred and forty-four Avin broilers (1 d of age) were randomly divided into six groups, with three replicates of eight birds each to study on the effects of different oligosaccharides on performance and availability of nutrients in broilers. The control group(Group Ⅰ)was fed with corn-soybean meal as basal diet, and the trial groups (Group Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ,Ⅴ and Ⅵ) were fed with basal diet plus 0.1% Manoligosaccharides(MOS), 0.3% Soybean-Oligosacchacline(CTC), respectively. The results showed that the supplementation of oligosaccharides slightly improved daily gain and feed intake. SBOS supplementation improved, but MOS and α-GOS significantly decreased availability of energy.Oligosaccharides supplementation improved availability of energy, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and iron, and significantly increased cholesterol content of fecal, and did not affect on availability of protein and cholesterol contents in serum and muscle. Availability of phosphorus of broilers fed with FOS was much higher than that with α-GOS. SBOS supplementation remarkably increased availability of iron.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of supplementing organic forms of zinc(zinc acetate,ZnA)and inorganic zinc(zinc sulfate,Zn S)on performance,the gain to feed ratio(G:F)and skeletal characters in broilers from the first day to the 42th day.A total of 240-day-old broilers(Arbor Acres)were randomly distributed in four groups.A corn-soybean meal-based control diet containing recommended concentrations of inorganic trace minerals and other nutrients was prepared.On the basal diets,the control goup(CG)was supplemented with Zn S and the treatment group(TG)feeding diets were with different ZnA supplemental levels(80,100 and 150 mg·kg~(-1))of ZnA.Each group was allotted randomly to five replicates and 12 broilers in each replicate and fed ad libitum from the first day to the 42th day.The results showed that supplementation of ZnA significantly increased(p0.05)energy and phosphorus(P)compared to that fed Zn S on the 21th day.Calcium(Ca),tibia weight,ash weight,tibia Ca and tibia P in TG(80 mg·kg-1 of ZnA)were the highest(p0.05).The pancreas Zn content of TG was higher than that in CG and increased with the supplementation of ZnA.On the 42th day,the content of energy,crude protein(CP),Ca and tibia Ca in TG(80 mg·kg-1 of ZnA)were the highest(p0.05),the change of pancreas Zn was the same as the results on the 21th day,but enter extract(EE),tibia weight,tibia length,tibia width and ash weight were not affected(p0.05)by ZnA.The results of this study showed that ZnA was better than Zn S in improving the early growth performance,nutrient utilization rate in broilers,the length and weight of broiler tibia,it promoted the calcium,phosphorus deposition and normal growth of tibia,and the optimum dietary ZnA level to feed was 80 mg·kg-1.ZnA affected body Zn stores and the apparent metabolic rate of nutrients.  相似文献

The present studies were conducted to isolate, select, identify and characterize gut bacteria as antimicrobial and growth promoting agent for the feed of economically important fish Cirrhinus mrigala. Intestinal microflora were isolated, counted, and identified, and their in vitro antibacterial properties were determined. The results have revealed that occurrence of Gram-negative rods was around 75% and of Gram-positive rods was 25%. Among the isolates Gram-positive were maintained in nutrient agar slants at 4°C. Of these, eight strains were replica-plated on agar seeded with Aeromonas hydrophila and only one strain CM2(C. mrigala 2) exhibited antibacterial properties in vitro showing inhibition against fish pathogen by well diffusion assay. This isolated strain was identified as Bacillus cereus. This bacterium was mass cultured and incorporated in the pelleted diet(40% protein and 18 k J g–1 gross energy) of C. mrigala to investigate its effect on growth performance, digestibility, nutrient retention and activities of digestive enzymes. The results of feeding trial revealed significantly(P<0.05) high growth performance in terms of specific growth rate, growth percent gain in body weight(BD)(272.4±1.5)%, high apparent protein digestibility((79.9±0.30)%) and low food conversion ratio in the group of fishes fed on diet containing B. cereus in comparison to the fishes fed on diet without probiotics. The carcass composition also revealed high accumulation of proteins((15.28±0.15) g 100 g–1) in fishes fed on diet containing probiotics. Intestinal enzyme activities of protease, amylase and cellulase were also significantly(P<0.05) high in the group of fishes fed on diet supplemented with probiotics indicating the extracellular enzyme production by B. cereus. These results indicate that probiotics stimulate the digestion through the supply of digestive enzyme and certain essential nutrients to animals. Also significantly(P<0.05) low excretion of metabolites, i.e., ammonia excretion and phosphate production(mg kg–1 BW d–1) was observed in the fishes fed with probiotic based diets. Thus, B. cereus appears to be a promising candidate for ptobiotic applications which can enhance growth performance and nutrient retention in C. mrigala.  相似文献

An experiment was conducted to study the effects of different Chinese herbs on lactation in the rat. Seventy-two Sprague Dawley female rats at gestation day 18 were assigned to 9 groups randomly, with 8 rats each. Control rats were offered basal diets until the end of the weaning period. Rats in the other 8 groups were administered diets supplemented with 1% Medulla tetrapanacis (MT), Astragalus membranacens(AM), Vaccaria segetalis(VS), Leonurus heterophyllus sweet (LHS), Radix rehmanniae preparata (RRP), Squama manitis (SM), Schisandra chinensis (SC), Ligustrum lucidum (LL), respectively. After parturition, the litter size was culled to 8 pups per dam. Pup weight and milk yield were significantly higher in the VS, LHS, AM and SM groups than these in the control group during middle and late lactation (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The weight and feed intake were not different in the dams fed either diet.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of enzyme supplementations on performance of growing pigs, apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) and in vitro digestibility (IVD) of nutrients. 224 growing pigs weighing 30-4-1.2 kg were allocated to fed basal diets supplemented with 0, 0.1, 0.15 or 0.2 g/kg enzyme preparations in growth trail. Those four diets were used for in vio'o digestibility study. Pigs fed enzyme-supplemented diets improved average daily gain and decreased ratio of feed/gain (P〈0.05). Enzyme supplementations increased ATTD of dry matter, energy, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fibre and hemicellulose (P〈0.05). Supplementation with enzymes improved reducing sugar production and the IVD of dry matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fibre, total arabinoxylans, galacturonic acid, hemicellulose and cellulose. 0.015% enzyme supplementation in diets seemed to be sufficient to achieve maximum growth performance, nutrients digestibilities and reducing sugar production. Collectively, these results suggested that the supplementation of enzymes in diet increased the digestibilities of nutrients through the promotion of NSP degradation, thereby enhancing growth performance of growing pigs.  相似文献

[目的]探讨黄芪、蒲公英等中草药对肉仔鸡生长保健性能的影响。[方法]将黄芪、蒲公英等中草药分别以配伍形式加入艾维因肉仔鸡基础日粮,测定对其生长保健性能的变化情况。[结果]添加中草药配伍A组(0.8%黄芪,0.4%山楂,0.4%陈皮,0.4%苍术)、中草药配伍B组(1.2%蒲公英,0.8%乌梅,0.8%黄柏,0.4%黄芪)肉仔鸡体重分别提高6.12%(P<0.01)及0.64%(P>0.05);肉仔鸡采食量分别改变-7.95%、9.99%;肉仔鸡料肉比分别改变-14.04%、9.35%,中草药配伍B组替代抗生素添加剂使肉仔鸡成活率和对照组保持相当水平。[结论]黄芪配伍中草药对艾维因肉仔鸡生长性能有较好改善作用;蒲公英配伍中草药则使其生长性能有所下降,但可替代日粮中抗生素添加剂的防病保健作用。  相似文献

[目的]研究囊素肽和中草药添加剂——抗感康对肉鸡预防H9N2禽流感病毒感染的保护效果。[方法]选择120羽1日龄AA鸡,随机分为3组,即中草药组、囊素肽组和对照组,40只/组。中草药组从1日龄起饲喂添加有0.1%抗感康的混合饲料;囊素组在13日龄时颈部皮下注射囊素肽0.4ml;对照组在13日龄颈部皮下注射0.85%灭菌生理盐水0.4ml,并观察鸡的临床表现。在1、7、18、27、35和45日龄时,记录采食量和体重,计算试验各阶段和全期平均日增重、采食量和料重比。[结果]囊素肽和抗感康能阻止H9N2禽流感病毒的水平传播,提高肉鸡抵抗力,并显著提高鸡的生产性能(P〈0.05)。[结论]囊素肽和抗感康能明显增强鸡的免疫力并提高鸡的生产性能。  相似文献

[目的]观察虫草饲料添加剂"虫草欣康"对蛋鸭的生长性能、产蛋率及鸭蛋品质的影响。[方法]选择270只处于产蛋期的蛋鸭,随机分为3组。对照组饲喂基础日粮,试验I组饲喂含0.1%虫草添加剂的基础日粮,试验II组饲喂含0.4%虫草添加剂的基础日粮。试验期28 d。试验期间,定期观察记录蛋鸭的体重和生长状况,检测鸭蛋外部品质和营养指标。[结果]与对照组相比,试验I和II组蛋鸭体重略有增加,产蛋率分别提高1.07%和2.15%,蛋重分别提高3.95%和4.16%,料蛋比分别降低了2.54%和4.23%;鸭蛋蛋形、蛋壳厚度稳定;在试验I和II组,鸭蛋蛋白质含量分别提高了5.55%和17.15%,胆固醇含量分别下降了11.79%和42.14%,卵黄中IgY含量分别提高了13.20%和27.97%,卵磷脂含量分别提高了5.13%和11.69%。[结论]虫草饲料添加剂能够增加蛋鸭的体重,提高蛋鸭产蛋率以及鸭蛋品质。  相似文献

[目的]为中草药饲料添加剂在獭兔养殖业中的推广应用提供理论依据。[方法]将108只40日龄断奶獭兔分成3组(每组36只),A组饲喂基础日粮;B组饲喂基础日粮+0.3%中草药饲料添加剂;C组饲喂基础日粮+0.4%中草药饲料添加剂。饲养至150日龄时,测定肌肉品质指标。[结果]各组间pH值、失水率、贮存损失率、粗蛋白含量差异显著(P〈0.05);嫩度、熟肉率、水分含量、粗脂肪含量差异不显著(P〉0.05)。氨基酸总量,必需和半必需氨基酸总量,主要鲜味氨基酸总量C组最高,为23.84%、11.47%、8.32%;B组次之,为20.94%、10.64%、6.81%;A组(对照组)最低,为19.06%、9.61%、6.46%,[结论]该中草药饲料添加剂能改善獭兔肉品质,最佳添加量为0.4%。  相似文献

[目的]研究日粮中添加薰衣草精油替代饲用抗生素对肉仔鸡生产性能及胴体品质的影响.[方法]将300只1日龄AA肉仔鸡随机分成4个处理组(每组设3个重复,每个重复25只),对照组饲喂基础日粮加抗生素,试验Ⅰ组、Ⅱ组、Ⅲ组日粮为基础日粮,分别添加薰衣草精油0.4、0.8、1.2(0~2周)和0.2、0.4和0.6 mL/kg(3 ~6周).[结果]日粮中添加薰衣草精油与添加抗生素比较,对肉仔鸡的平均日增重、料重比、死淘率和胴体品质等生产性能指标的影响不显著(P>0.05);除了试验组Ⅲ的腿肌率与抗生素组相比有显著降低外(P<0.05),其它胴体品质指标与抗生素组相比无显著性差异(P>0.05).试验组的平均死淘率(0.86;)低于抗生素组的死淘率(3.1;);试验组Ⅰ比抗生素组日增重提高了1.87; (P >0.05),料重比降低了0.53; (P >0.05).[结论]从肉仔鸡41 d末重、料重比、死淘率等指标综合评定来看,用薰衣草精油替代肉仔鸡饲用抗生素是可行的,0~2周和3~6周日粮中分别添加薰衣草精油0.4和0.2 mL/kg的效果较好.  相似文献

用数味中草药作为饲料添加剂,观察对400羽肉鸡生长的影响.经2次饲养试验结果表明,试验组按1%比例添加,AA(Abor Acres)鸡与艾维茵(Avian)鸡分别比对照组提高增重5.37%(P<0.01)与6.09%(P<0.01):饲料转化率提高9.0%与10.1%,初步认为本中草药饲料添加剂对肉鸡生长有良好的促进效果.  相似文献

[目的]研究乳果糖替代饲用抗生素后对AA肉仔鸡生产性能和胴体品质的影响.[方法]选用180只1日龄AA肉仔鸡,随机分成5组,每组3个重复,每个重复12只.阴性对照组饲喂基础日粮;抗生素组添加0.3 g/kg那西肽和0.25 g/kg硫酸粘杆菌素预混剂;试验组分别添加0.5;、1.0;和1.5;乳果糖.测定生产性能及胴体指标.[结果]各组肉仔鸡活体重分别为2 164.22、2 057.58、2 101.43、2 208.86、2 172.00 g,差异不显著(P>0.05).料重比分别为2.15、1.90、1.95、1.96、2.02,抗生素组显著低于阴性对照组13.16;(P<0.05),但其它各组均差异不显著(P>0.05).乳果糖组肉仔鸡平均日增重、平均日采食量较抗生素组均有所提高,但差异不显著(P>0.05).添加抗生素、1.0;、1.5;乳果糖肉仔鸡的存活率显著提高.乳果糖在很大程度上改善了肉仔鸡的胴体品质,其中0.5;、1.0;乳果糖组比抗生素组腹脂率分别降低3.48;(P>0.05)、17.24; (P >0.05).[结论]添加不同水平乳果糖替代饲用抗生素后均具有提高肉仔鸡生产性能、改善胴体品质的趋势,综合生产性能和胴体品质来看,1.0;乳果糖的替代效果较佳.  相似文献

[目的]利用红三叶草固态发酵物饲喂肉仔公鸡,分析红三叶草固态发酵物对其免疫机能的影响.[方法]选用1日龄健康艾维菌肉仔公鸡600只随机分为5组,在基础日粮中添加0.1%、0.2%、0.3%红三叶草固态发酵物(RSF)和红三叶草提取物,研究发酵红三叶草对内仔公鸡免疫机能的影响.[结果] 28日龄,0.1%RSF组肉仔鸡T、B淋巴细胞增殖反应比对照组分别提高9.1%和8.3%(P<0.05).在基础日粮中添加0.1%、0.3% RSF和红三叶草提取物均能显著提高肉仔鸡的胸腺指数(P<0.05).在基础日粮中添加0.1%RSF能显著提高49日龄肉仔鸡的脾脏指数(P<0.05).在基础日粮中添加0.1%RSF和红三叶草提取物均显著提高22日龄肉仔鸡的法氏囊指数(P<0.05).[结论]该研究可为利用米曲霉固态发酵红三叶生产饲料添加剂提供理论依据.  相似文献

研究了生,熟全脂大豆对肉仔鸡不同生长发育阶段的影响,将280只1日龄艾维茵(Avian)肉鸡雏随机分成7组,每组4个重复小群,每个重复小群10只鸡雏,饲喂含15%熟大豆,15%生大豆的试验日粮和对照(豆粕+豆油)日粮。结果表明:饲喂生大豆饲粮肉仔鸡日增重比饲喂对照和熟大豆饲粮肉仔鸡日增重分别降低了6.59%,10.73%,其饲料效率降低了10.52%.6.48%。  相似文献
