The adsorption of orthophosphate to humic surfaces was studied in a model experiment. The adsorption maximum of humic substances greatly increased with higher concentrations of organically complexed Fe (III), indicating that orthophosphate was bound to humic surfaces via metal bridges. The molar ratio Padsorbed/Fe was nearly 1 for Fe freshly complexed to humic substances, whereas the ratio for amorphous Fe-oxide was a tenfold lower. An increase in pH from 5.2 to 6.2 lead to an increase of P-adsorption of about 30% in the case of humic-Fe-surfaces, which could be explained by an increased accessibility of adsorption sites at pH 6.2. The addition of a 0.01 M CaCl2-matrix increased orthophosphate adsorption at pH 6.2 but not at pH 5.2. This could be explained by electrostatic interactions caused by the Ca++ ion.  相似文献

Many nonlinear functions have been used to predict crop yield response to applied fertilizer. Accurate estimates of the parameter values are required for the formulation of satisfactory fertilizer dose recommendations. In fertilizer trials, several yield measurements for different fertilizer doses are usually made at the same site and in the same year. Model errors are therefore unlikely to be independent for the same site-year. Nonlinear mixed effects models can be used for yield response data. We evaluated the performance of a recently proposed stochastic approximation of the EM algorithm (SAEM) for estimating the parameters of nonlinear mixed effects models. We used the SAEM method to estimate the parameters of four different nonlinear models, using a real dataset including 37 site-years of yield measurements. We then carried out simulations, to determine the bias and the root mean squared errors of the estimators. We compared the results obtained with SAEM with those obtained using a first-order conditional method. SAEM gave better results in most cases. The estimates produced by SAEM were less biased and less affected by initial values.  相似文献

In order to simulate plant transpiration under different field climatic conditions we have developed and verified a semi-empirical model for predicting the stomatal response to solar global radiation, leaf temperature, vapour pressure difference between the leaf and ambient air, ambient air CO2 concentration and soil water potential. The transpiration and the stomatal relative conductance of a Nicotania Tabaccum var “samsun” plant leaves were measured in a laboratory apparatus and compared to those predicted by the model: good agreement was obtained between them for the different investigated cases. The model was incorporated in a numerical greenhouse microclimate model and its effects on the canopy microclimate are discussed here.  相似文献

The affinity of patulin for sulfur dioxide (SO2) is much less than was previously reported and is of little significance at the SO2 concentrations (below 200 ppm) used in the processing of apple juice and cider. However, at concentrations of 2000 ppm SO2 and 15 ppm patulin, combination was 90% complete in 2 days. Removal of SO2 liberated only part of the patulin, which suggests that 2 mechanisms are involved: one reversible (opening the hemiacetal ring) and one irreversible (SO2 addition at the double bond). Test with 2 yeasts used in English commercial cider making confirmed that patulin is effectively removed during yeast fermentation.  相似文献

Nine soils with distinct properties and Se levels were selected to test a fractionation procedure of soil Se based on sequential extraction. Soil Se was fractionated into readily available Se (fraction Ⅰ, extracted by 0.5 M NaHCO3), slowly available Se (fraction Ⅱ, extracted by 0.1 M NaOH-0.1 M Na4P2O7), amorphous oxide-occluded Se (fraction Ⅲ, extracted by acid ammonium oxalate), free oxide-occluded Se (fraction Ⅵ, extracted by dithionite-citrate-bicarbonate buffer solution) and residual Se (fraction Ⅴ, determined by HNO3-HClO4 digestion of the final soil residue). The recovery of soil Se (the sum of all fractions over total soil Se determined independently) by this procedure was from 88.1% to 110.9%, mean 99.2%±6.4% for the test soils. The sum of fractions Ⅰ and Ⅱ, provided a good measure of available Se in soils and the percentage of fraction Ⅰ plus Ⅱ over the total soil Se, tentatively defined as Se availability index, could be used to indicate soil Se status and predict Se deficiency.  相似文献

Abstract

One approach to evaluating computer models which predict terrestrial‐aquatic ecosystem response to acid deposition is the experimental acidification of soils with subsequent comparisons among predicted and measured soil solution response. Using a soil microcosm experimental approach, comparisions between simulated acid rain (i.e. dilute H2SO4), dry NH4NO3, and prilled reduced S were made for suitability for large‐scale field experiments. Soil microcosms consisting of reconstructed soil profiles received a background simulated throughfall dosing over the six month treatment period. Results indicated that simulated throughfall, applied at twice the ambient rate, acidified soil leachates approximately 0.5 pH units over the treatment period. Along with the decline in leachate pH was an apparent release of base cations as well as Fe and Al. Over the length of the treatment period, very little of the prilled S dissolved and the simulated acid rain treatment did not have significant effects on leachate chemistry.  相似文献

Food dye Brilliant Blue was introduced as the tracer in a dye-tracing experiment to obtain dye profile patterns of sandy loam soil,aeolian sandy soil,percolating paddy soil and permeable paddy soil.The dyed soil profiles were then photographed and the photos were scanned into a computer.Edited with certain software,only the dyed areas were left on the profile photos,which indicted the preferential flow paths for water and solute transport.Fractal dimensions of the dye patterns were calculated according to Arnold‘s function.Soil particle size distribution was analyzed by pipette method.The regression analysis showed that there was significant relationship between soil clay content and fractal dimension D of the dye pattern of soil profile.Based on the experiment results,the possibility of introducing fractal dimension to estimation of soil sensitivity to preferential flow is discussed.  相似文献

A great multiplicity of methods has been used to evaluate the activity of natural antioxidants by using different techniques of inducing and catalyzing oxidation and measuring the end point of oxidation for foods and biological systems. Antioxidant in vitro protocols for foods should be based on analyses at relatively low levels of oxidation under mild conditions and on the formation and decomposition of hydroperoxides. For antioxidant in vivo protocols, widely different methods have been used to test the biological protective activity of phenolic compounds. Unfortunately, many of these protocols have been based on questionable methodology to accurately measure oxidative damage and to assess relevant changes in biological targets. Many studies testing the ex vivo activity of phenolic compounds to inhibit human low-density lilpoprotein (LDL) oxidation have been difficult to evaluate because of the structural complexity of LDL particles and because a multitude of markers of oxidative damage have been used. Although studies with animal models of atherosclerosis have demonstrated the antioxidant effect of phenolic compounds in delaying the progress of this disease, human clinical trials of antioxidants have reported inconsistent and mixed results. Complex mixtures of plant polyphenols have been shown to be absorbed to varying degrees as metabolites in the intestine, but little is known about their interactions, bioavailability, and their in vivo antioxidant activity. Several metabolites identified in human plasma after consuming flavonoids need to be tested for possible nonantioxidant activities. More research and better-designed human studies are required to clarify the complex questions of bioavailability of polyphenols and the factors affecting their in vivo activities. Until we know what relevant in vivo activities to measure, any claims on the biological and health protective effects of natural polyphenolic compounds in our diet are premature.  相似文献

Respiratory methods to estimate the amount of C in the soil microbial biomass and the relative contributions of procaryotes and eucaryotes to the biomass were used to evaluate the influence of pesticides on the soil microflora. Experiments were conducted with 5 and 50 μg·g?1 of three fungicides, captan, thiram and verdasan. At 5 μg·g?1 they caused significant decreases (40%) in the biomass; the organomercury fungicide verdasan also caused a shift from fungal to bacterial dominance. Within 8 days, biomass in captan- and thiram-amended soils had recovered to that of the controls. Although the fungal to bacterial balance was restored in verdasan-amended soils, biomass recovery was not complete. At 50 μg·g?1 the fungicides caused long-term decreases in the biomass and altered the relative proportions of the bacterial and fungal populations. Verdasan had the greatest effect on soil microbial biomass and composition.  相似文献

以吉林德惠市黑土长期田间定位实验地土壤为研究对象,通过室内模拟培养,采用高通量测序方法(16S rRNA)研究免耕和垄作土壤微生物群落对不同频率和强度的干湿交替处理的响应。结果表明:干湿交替显著降低免耕土壤中微生物群落的多样性,且频率越高干旱强度越大多样性降低越显著;但干湿交替对垄作土壤的微生物多样性影响不显著。与对照相比,干湿交替显著增加免耕土壤中浮霉菌门(Planctomycetes)和疣微菌门(Verrucomicrobia)的相对丰度,显著降低免耕和垄作土壤中Saccharibacteria菌门和Parcubacteria菌门的相对丰度。无论是免耕还是垄作条件下,干湿交替频率的不同导致土壤微生物群落结构产生显著差异,而干湿交替强度的不同对土壤微生物群落结构没有显著影响。研究结果为预测干旱气候对黑土生态功能的影响提供了理论基础。  相似文献

The use of anabolic substances is prohibited in food-producing animals throughout the European Union. No method is available to reliably detect the misuse of natural hormones in cattle. A method was developed to detect the abuse of testosterone in cattle fattening. Synthesized testosterone is rather depleted in the (13)C/(12)C ratio. Hence, the method is based on gas chromatography/combustion/isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC/C/IRMS) analysis of urine. To select testosterone metabolites and endogenous reference compounds (ERC), the concentration of urinary steroids of cattle was investigated. Dehydroepiandrosterone and androst-5ene-3beta,17alpha-diol were chosen as ERCs to show endogenous (13)C/(12)C ratios. Etiocholanolone and 5alpha-androstane-3beta,17alpha-diol were chosen as the most important testosterone metabolites. Other metabolites known from literature like epitestosterone were less promising. In principle, GC/C/IRMS is a nonspecific method because finally carbon dioxide is analyzed. Therefore, a dedicated cleanup procedure for the selected steroids was developed. By means of proposed confidence intervals in the isotopic composition of ERCs and metabolites, the administration of testosterone to cattle could be detected reliably. Differences of up to 11 per thousand on the delta-scale between ERC and testosterone metabolites were found after testosterone administration, whereas endogenous differences did not exceed 2 per thousand.  相似文献

设备检修是电网系统运行中一项十分重要的内容,科学、合理的检修计划有利于提高电力系统运行的可靠性,能够提高企业的现代化管理水平和效益。论文结合辽宁省辽阳农电网情的实际特点,全面考虑了制定农网检修计划的影响因素,抽象得出适合配电网检修计划优化的数学模型,并通过对实际问题的分析针对遗传算法的不足相应地提出了改进措施,利用MATLAB语言强大的运算功能,结合VB可视化设计语言编制了农网预安排停电管理系统软件,应用该软件对辽阳农网的检修计划进行了优化,结果表明,优化的检修计划有效地避免了重复作业,大大减少了停电次数和停电电量。  相似文献

We investigated the feeding preferences of six species of mites and collembolans for three fungi commonly associated with roots of Acer saccharum (Glomus macrocarpum, Alternaria alternata and Trichoderma harzianum), from a maple-forest soil in southern Ontario, Canada. Experiments were also conducted in vitro to determine animal feeding responses to (1) increasing quantities of hyphal biomass, (2) the presence of root vs. litter fungal substrates, and (3) hyphae of different widths of Glomus macrocarpum. The results indicate that arthropods prefer to graze in the litter region rather than in the deeper soil layers. Under ideal moisture/temperature conditions, animals are forced to the lower regions by interspecific interactions. They prefer to graze on hyphae of conidial fungi rather than on those of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. When arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal hyphae are grazed, there is a clear preference for the narrower hyphae, which are those further away from the root. The thicker hyphal segments, commonly found connecting absorptive hyphal fans to roots, were less preferred. These data are not consistent with the hypothesis that microarthropods are detrimental to arbuscular mycorrhizal associations, and suggest that Glomalean fungi may have evolved mechanisms to deter grazing by microarthropods.  相似文献

Greenhouse soils are regularly treated with metham-sodium, which in soil is quickly transformed to the fumigant methyl isothiocyanate. An experimental fumigation was carried out in a greenhouse with sandy soil. Data were collected on the behavior of methyl isothiocyanate in soil and its permeation through a film of low-density polyethene (LDPE) covering the soil. This cover was found to be highly permeable to methyl isothiocyanate. When the fumigation of greenhouse soil was simulated with a computation model, the use of LDPE film only appreciably reduced the rate of emission into the air in the first two days. The cumulative emission corresponded to about half of the dosage for some practical situations. It is concluded that dosages should be lower and applied more effectively, and less permeable soil covers should be used.  相似文献
