广亲和粳稻恢复系选育方法

摘    要:广亲和粳稻恢复系的选育除采用WA型恢复与广亲和粳稻杂交选育和不同广亲和恢复系间杂交选育外,本研究提出以粳稻为父本杂交选育的4种办法:1、以型杂交稻F1为母本转育同质广亲和恢复系;2、以WA型下育系为母本筛选同质广亲和恢复系;3、以WA型广亲和不育系为母本,筛选同质广亲和恢复系;4、以同质广亲和恢复系为母本转育新的恢复系。用上述方法已育成02428等广亲和恢复系,并可同时恢复WA型和BT型胞质不育系

Abstract:Two existing breeding methods have been widely used by rice breeders in breed-ing of wide-compatible restorer (WCR) of japonica type, by crossing a restorer of wild abortive (WA) cytoplasm with a wide-compatible japonica line or by crossing different WCR lines with each other. In this research, four new methods by using japonica rice as male parents were pro-posed, and used in rice breeding:1. Using an indica hybrid rice F1 as female parent to develop japonica WCR lines with the same CMS cytoplasm by backcrossing.2. Using a WA sterile line as female parent to select japonica WCR lines with CMS cytoplasm.3. Using a wide-compatibly WA sterile line as female parent to select japonica WCR lines with CMS cytoplasm.4. Using WCR lines with CMS cytoplasm as female parent to develop new restorer lines by backcrossing.By these methods, several japonica WCR lines such as that derived from 02428 have been de-veloped which could restore the fertility of both WA and BT cytoplasmic male sterile lines. The second and the third method were also discussed.
