The United States (US) has been a major player in the management and protection of fish and wildlife, which is inseparable from the establishment of institutions and relevant laws in US. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service is a federal agency that administers the fish, wildlife and natural habitats in US. This paper introduces the basic situation, main work and protection cases of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, which has certain implications for the management and protection of fish and wildlife in China.
