PEG对烟草幼苗耐低温胁迫能力的生理效应

中文摘要:用不同浓度PEG处理4叶期烟草幼苗,对烟草在低温胁迫期间电解质渗漏率、丙二醛、内源抗氧化剂含量及保护酶活性等生理生化指标的变化进行了测定。结果表明,PEG处理能显著增强烟草幼苗耐低温胁迫能力,提高烟草叶片中内源抗氧化剂(AsA、GSH)含量和膜保护酶(SOD和CAT)活性;在低温胁迫期间,经PEG处理的幼苗中叶绿素、呼吸速率、可溶性蛋白质、脯氨酸含量均高于对照,电解质渗漏率和膜脂过氧化产物丙二醛积累量低于对照。结果表明,维持较高的膜保护酶活性,提高与抗冷性有关物质含量是PEG提高烟草幼苗耐低温能力的基础。

Physiological Effects of PEG on Chilling Resistance of Tobacco Seedlings
Abstract:The tobacco seedlings was treated with different concentrations of PEG solution or water (as control) for three days,and determine the physiological index changes in leaves of tobacco seedlings such as leakage of electrolytes,the content of MDA and the contents of endogenous anyioxidants (AsA and GSH),the activities of membrane protecting enzymes (SOD and CAT) before and after chilling stress.The results indicated that treatment with PEG solution obviously increased the resistance of chilling.It also increase the content of AsA and GSH; The activities of SOD and CAT were increased by PEG and kept high level after chilling stress at 5℃ temperature.During chilling stress,in comparison with the control,the content of chlorophylls,proline and soluble sugar in tobacco seedlings treated with PEG were all increased in varying degrees.The accumulation of malondialdehyde (MAD) and the leakage of electrolytes in increased less in seedlings of PEG treated than that in control seedlings.Therefore,it was suggested that PEG had kept higher the activities of membrane protective enzymes and increased the content of protective substance for cold-tolerance in tobacco seedlings under chilling stress.
